Habitat for Humanity of the Coachella Valley is pleased to announce the dedication of two newly completed Habitat homes to families in Desert Hot Springs. The recipients of the homes were Rochin Sotelo and the Gonzalez Miranda families, who were officially presented with the keys at a dedication ceremony.

Habitat Executive Director, Dave Thornton commented: “Their children will have a place to grow and make lifelong memories. There’s spacious room for each member of the family, a yard for play and family and neighbor get-togethers; a place where a sense of community is attained.” From the beginning Ground Breaking to the Slab Signing Party—where best wishes to the family members were written on the bare concrete of the bedrooms before flooring installation— to the final finishing touches, this is an exciting new beginning for these deserving families.
