Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Habitat for Humanity teams began connecting displaced families with shelter and meeting other emergency needs at the Ukrainian border and in major cities. Habitat is working with local and national governments to help refugees from Ukraine secure mid- to long-term housing. Our response to the Ukraine crisis has focused on six countries so far: Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Germany and Bulgaria.
