BW has owned her home since 1964. We assisted her last year regarding a roof issue, but we recently found out that her toilet had overflowed and flooded her bathroom, bedroom and hallway. The insurance would cover the damage to her floors and drywall but not the plumbing.  While assessing and unclogging the sewer pipe, we also noted some safety issues and donated a shower chair and repaired a hole in her bathtub.

We received a thank you that said in part, “Habitat for Humanity and the many sponsors who are there to make life so much easier for people like myself who have no other resources…forever grateful.”
