A homeowner in the Gateway community of Palm Springs was struggling with the upkeep of her yard. Among other things, old fences were creating a fire hazard and the property was overgrown with old trees. A total of 23 volunteers and staff from Habitat for Humanity Coachella Valley gathered on a sunny October day to help out.

Thank you to the 13 Google employees who came from LA, Councilwoman Grace Garner and family, and Kelly Levy from Big Horn Cares, for all the hard work needed to take down fences, put up new ones, and clear four dumpsters full of dead brush and trees.
