Habitat for Humanity of the Coachella Valley is deeply humbled to receive an extraordinarily generous contribution from Indian Wells resident Mary L. Silver. Our deepest appreciation extends to the family of Mrs. Silver, as well as our condolences for their loss. This gift will have an enormous impact on our ability to serve the most vulnerable members of our community, including isolated seniors, struggling families, the disabled, and veterans. Last year, we served 227 men, women and children from low-income households.
As a resident of Indian Wells, Mary L. Silver was an active and contributing member of the Coachella Valley. Along with her husband Lou, she was an active philanthropist involved in many organizations. We are truly humbled by the faith Mrs. Silver placed in our services. In the coming years, we will strive to honor her legacy by continuing to build on our critical work to ensure affordable and safe housing for those in need.
